Today we had a fun visit to the media center where Ms. Herhselman, our wonderfully informed media specialist, conducted a book talk that elicited our interest in various novels.  Then, we had a short session of SSR to test drive our new texts in the classroom.  Finally, we met in our "Smart Parts" intelligence groups and discussed the posters we will make during tomorrow's class.  Here is the rubric for the poster, which is worth 50 points!
