1. Quick write (8:20-8:30):  What realities of life must all people face, not matter who they are?  How do some people use money and power to try to avoid the upsetting realities of life--realities we all must face?

• Polish Fracture Fairy Tales (consult rubric and response group suggestions as possible areas for revision and editing)
• Lord of the Flies: You will need your own copy, in which you can write, by the end of next week.
